Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Selfie Culture, Penggunaan Filter TikTok, dan Social Comparison terhadap Krisis Identitas Remaja dengan Body Image sebagai Variabel Mediasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh budaya selfie, penggunaan filter TikTok, dan perbandingan sosial terhadap citra tubuh serta krisis identitas pada remaja. Objek penelitian adalah 129 siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Amore Prime School. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatif dengan metode survei sensus dan teknik analisis Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya selfie dan perbandingan sosial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kerentanan citra tubuh. Perbandingan sosial dan penggunaan filter TikTok terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap krisis identitas remaja, di mana perbandingan sosial menjadi prediktor paling dominan. Namun, penggunaan filter TikTok tidak berpengaruh terhadap citra tubuh, dan citra tubuh tidak terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap krisis identitas remaja. Selain itu, citra tubuh tidak terbukti menjalankan peran sebagai variabel mediasi dalam model ini. Kesimpulannya, krisis identitas pada remaja lebih banyak dipicu oleh proses perbandingan sosial dan praktik representasi identitas digital secara langsung dibandingkan melalui ketidakpuasan terhadap tubuh.
